Whole30 BBQ Sauce

  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika (plus more to taste)
  • 1 (6-ounce) can compliant tomato paste (see Notes)
  • ½ cup coconut aminos
  • 1 cup water (or chicken stock)
  • 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the ghee or coconut oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until translucent.
